You can see from the picture opposite, how alert the dogs are.
The picture is of me, Kai & Tag, Kai being the black & white Spaniel while Tag is Liver coloured. Both dogs have been trained by me and are often to be seen beating at local shoots. Further on, on this site, are shots and description of some of the training methods that I use.
All dogs are trained to Hand signals, Whistle and Voice as well as the sound of shotgun fire.
My goal is always

A bit about me.
I have spent the last few years walking the Lake district fells and I have thrown in Ben Nevis in Scotland for good measure, and one day I intend to do Snowden in Wales. I found that walking was a great source of exercise which kept me fit, with a huge helping of visual pleasure as nowhere can give you such a feeling of well being as standing with a friend on the top of some mountain with a view of the lakes around you. It was this interest in the out door life that prompted me to get my two dogs Kai and Tag, which are by the way, father and son. From this came the training, as I was invited to attend a shoot as a beater with the dogs. It was obvious from the start that the dogs needed training and so I started on a training project which I found to be very rewarding. You can see from this site, the work that I have done, and the type of training that I can deliver. I hope that this will enable you to feel enough confidence in me to provide the training that you need.
