English Springer Spaniels and Cocker Spaniels

Tagkai Gundogs is run by Steven and Helen Rogers. Based in the beautiful south lakes of Cumbria, we are a small family run Kennel Club Assured Breeders Of Working English Springer And Cocker Spaniels.

All our dogs have undergone the relevant health tests. As from December 11th 2011 Our springer spaniels are tested for Fucosidosis, PRA. Gonioscopy KC/BVA/ISDS. All our cocker spaniels are tested for KC/BVA/ISDS, FN (Familial Nephropathy), PRA.

All my dogs at TagKai Gundogs are good natured and respond well to friendly environments. All puppies are whelped in my home and both mother and puppies receive constant expert care and attention throughout the birth and the subsequent important early days.

Puppies are handled from birth and everyday thereafter with the aim of producing well socialised, happy, bold and confident puppies who are a reflection of the time and effort given to them during their early weeks.

As a member of The Kennel Club Assured Breeders Scheme, all my puppies come with full documentation including Kennel Club Registration, contract of sale, four weeks puppy insurance via The Kennel Club Healthcare Plan and a copy of the five generation pedigree.

I have been involved in training and breeding English Springer Spaniels and Cocker Spaniels since 2002. I also offer basic obedience training, gundog training, one-on-one tuition and residential training.

Litters planned and dogs for sale

At any one time I will always have dogs for sale, or litters planned, or both. I tend to have a waiting list for puppies, and if potential purchasers would like to view my facilities and the spaniels living here, please contact me and I'll be happy to show you around.
