The pictures above are of, Tag & Kai, Tag being the Liver & white Spaniel while Kai is the black & white. (Sadly, on the 1st of December 2008, Tag passed away. He will be very much missed.) All dogs have been trained by me and are often to be seen beating at local shoots. All dogs are trained to Hand signals, Whistle and Voice as well as the sound of shotgun fire.

From an early age I was involved with dogs, from the family Terriers to my Grandfathers working Collies and Terriers on the farm. At 17 I got my first dog and have had Man's Best Friend by my side ever since. Since 1998 I have been walking the Lake district fells and I have thrown in Ben Nevis in Scotland for good measure. I found that walking was a great source of exercise, which kept me fit, with a huge helping of visual pleasure as nowhere can give you such a feeling of well being as standing with a friend on the top of some mountain with a view of the lakes around you. Kai & Tag which are by the way father & Son, are my first Springers. As I was invited to attend a shoot, as a beater, with the dogs it became quite apparent that some real traing was required, and so I started on a training project which I found to be very rewarding. You can see from this site, the work that I have done, and the type of training that my dogs receive. I have been involved in training and breeding English Springer Spaniels since 2002.
